HiredX was created to strengthen the hiring ecosystem by creating spaces where people can connect, learn, and grow together.

From Idea to Impact
HiredX started in Vancouver in 2022 as a simple fix to a common problem: hiring events were loud, random, and time-wasting for both recruiters and candidates.
So we built something more intentional: a curated, community-led hiring experience where technical talent and hiring teams can have real conversations (not “spray and pray” networking).
Today, HiredX continues to grow through the people behind it: organizers, recruiters, and volunteers who care deeply about the tech community, and about making hiring feel human again.

Why we exist
Signal > noise. We curate for experienced tech talent: 3+ years minimum, with 7.5 years average experience in recent editions.
Built for the roles teams actually hire for. Our candidate mix skews toward core builders, Developers + Data make up the majority (e.g., 42% Developers and 24% Data/Analytics in HiredX 10).
Better conversations, faster decisions. Recruiters meet candidates who are ready for meaningful hiring chats, candidates meet teams who are actively hiring or building pipelines.
Community-first, not resume-first. We prioritize alignment, communication, and real-world impact over perfect formatting and keyword games.
We keep improving every edition. Feedback from recruiters + candidates shapes how HiredX evolves, so the next event is always sharper.
